Greg holman
Entrepreneur. Author. Survivor.
At twenty, Greg Holman was a passenger in a car that left the road at speed. Five young men. A friend died. Greg suffered severe facial injuries and came within a fraction of losing his left eye. He walked away — but not unchanged.
A year later, a sawn-off shotgun was pointed at him and two colleagues during an armed hold-up. All three were tied up and left. He walked away from that too.
In the months that followed, he left university, stepped into uncertainty, and began building.
Over the next three decades, Greg built and scaled multiple businesses across Australia — including a Top 100 accounting firm recognised as one of the country’s fastest growing. Those years, and the risks that came with them, would later become the foundation for something he never planned.
Then he retired. And one late night, restless and curious, he started writing.
The writing took hold.
What began as an experiment became a four-book saga spanning forty-five years and seven countries — a story grounded in lived experience.
- Billy Houston: Rags to Riches
- Billy Houston: Fall from Grace
- Billy Houston: The Last Stand
- Billy Houston: Framed
From the boardrooms of Wall Street to the prisons of Southeast Asia, from the Greek islands to the fictional Republic of Sundara — The Billy Houston Saga is a cinematic thriller series about ambition, betrayal, and what it truly costs to start over.
Today, Greg splits his time between Noosa and Phuket, where many of the saga’s most powerful scenes were conceived during long sunrise walks.
And yes — like Billy — he still barracks for the Bombers.
